Heartworm treatment when your dog is infected is costly and difficult and can even kill your Border Collie.

Sometimes your border may even need surgery to remove the worms from their heart chambers.

Prevention is always the best option.

Heartworm prevention is low cost and so don’t let it slip. Keep your prevention up to date. Put a reminder in your phone and mark it in your puppy diary. We give our pups monthly heartworm tablets until they go to their forever home. We use Interceptor Spectrum chews. You can continue this treatment monthly for your Border Collie or you can opt for a yearly injection at the vet at 12 weeks old.

Heartworm is dangerous so don’t let your Border Collie down and don’t leave it to chance.

We hope this helps you and your pooch.
